Unseeable

Unseeable

Joe has always been humble, but when his feelings of insignificance burgeon and begin to take over his life, he finds himself slowly but surely disappearing from the world.

Seeking refuge with an oblivious pensioner, Joe struggles to hold on to his very existence, leading to some gently comedic but poignant circumstances as he navigates his day-to-day routine. All the while he is reminded of his dire situation in the mirror on the wall; his last vestige of hope starts to fade along with his reflection.

When gravity releases its hold on Joe, it’s clear that time is not on his side. As he prepares to transcend, his only hope is compassion—that of others and his own.

As a crisis strikes his host, will the ties that bind us be strong enough to envelop Joe? If he can find meaning and a reason to hold on, there’s hope for us all…

Unseeable weaves a cautionary tale of the repercussions of an uncaring society in which the quiet and the humble are all too often disregarded, unseen and unappreciated. Author Bruce Masters hopes that his story will elevate those who identify with Joe, helping them to find their own significance and their reflections to shine out boldly and strong.
